Display fireworks as per the instructions mentioned on the pack. Read all labels carefully before use.

Outdoor Use Only

Use fireworks only outdoor in open spaces away from buildings, vehicles, dry grass, and other flammable materials.

Use Branded Fireworks

Buy fireworks from authorized/reputed manufacturers only. Check for ISI mark and manufacturing date.

Keep Safe Distance

Light only one firework at a time, by one person. Others should watch from a safe distance of at least 5-10 meters.

Follow Safety Tips

Always follow the safety tips marked on the fireworks packaging. Each type of cracker has different safety requirements.

Use Agarbatti (Incense Stick)

Use an agarbatti or a long candle stick to ignite the fireworks. Never use matchsticks or lighters directly.

Safe Storage

Store fireworks in a cool, dry place away from heat sources. Keep them in their original packaging.

Adult Supervision

Always have adult supervision when children are around. Never let children handle aerial fireworks or loud crackers.

Emergency Water

Keep two buckets of water handy in case of fire or any mishap. Also keep a first aid kit ready.

Wear Protective Clothing

Wear cotton clothes and closed shoes. Keep a wet cloth ready to cover in case of emergency.

Don't Make Your Own Fireworks

Never make your own fireworks or try to modify existing ones. This is extremely dangerous and illegal.

Don't Relight Duds

Never try to re-light or pick up fireworks that have not ignited fully. Wait 20 minutes, then soak in water.

Don't Carry in Pockets

Never carry fireworks in your pockets. Friction can cause them to ignite accidentally.

Don't Use Glass/Metal Containers

Never shoot fireworks in metal or glass containers. They can shatter and cause serious injuries.

Don't Point at People

Never point or throw fireworks at another person, animals, or buildings. This can cause fatal injuries.

Don't Wear Loose Clothes

Do not wear loose, flowing, or synthetic clothing while using fireworks. They can catch fire easily.

Don't Touch Leftover Fireworks

After the display, never pick up leftover fireworks. They may still be active and can explode.

Don't Store Near Fire

Don't store firecrackers near burning candles, diyas, or lamps. Keep them away from any heat source.

Don't Use Under Influence

Never burst crackers under the influence of alcohol. It causes delayed reactions and poor judgment.

Don't Ignite Indoors

Never light fireworks indoors or in enclosed spaces. Always use them in open areas only.

In case of any accident, follow these steps

For Burns

  • Pour cold running water on the burn for at least 10 minutes
  • Do not apply ice, butter, or toothpaste
  • Cover with clean cloth and seek medical help

For Eye Injuries

  • Do not rub the eye
  • Rinse with clean water if particles enter
  • Cover eye gently and rush to hospital

For Hand Injuries

  • Apply pressure to stop bleeding
  • Elevate the injured hand
  • Wrap with clean cloth and seek medical help
